Anxiety & Depression
Therapy for anxiety and depression at Carnation Psychology helps teens and adults in/around Centennial, CO, who feel persistently overwhelmed, exhausted, self-critical, or stuck, even when things look fine from the outside.
Anxiety and depression don't always look like panic attacks or staying in bed. For a lot of my clients, it looks like chronic overworking, perfectionism, difficulty relaxing, irritability, or a constant undercurrent of "not enough" — no matter how much they accomplish. This is especially common among high-achieving adults, and it's sometimes intertwined with trauma, ADHD, or autism that hasn't been identified yet.
We'll work together to understand what's actually driving the anxiety or depression, build coping strategies that fit how you actually think and function, and figure out what "better" realistically looks like for you.

-
Some people only consider therapy when they are at their lowest or most stressed. Seeking therapy before it gets to that point helps you learn lifelong coping skills, stop small worries and negative thinking from growing worse, and prevent daily tension from draining your energy.
-

-
