Carnation Psychology accepts CO Medicaid insurance for therapy services only. All other services, including therapy for clients without Medicaid and assessments, are private pay.
Therapy
I accept Colorado Medicaid for individual therapy. For clients without Medicaid, therapy is private pay at $205 per session. I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Covered per Medicaid rate. Please update me with any changes and keep up with your renewals. More than 2 missed sessions or late cancellations may put a pause on services until regular attendance can be established.

Payment & Cancellation
Payment is due at the time of service via credit/debit card or HSA/FSA. If you would like to pay with bank ACH please let me know.
Cancellation policy: 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments and late cancellations will be billed the full session rate.
Assessments
All assessments (autism, ADHD, learning disability, mental health, and giftedness/2e) are private pay and are not billed through Medicaid or insurance.
I require a 50/50 deposit at the beginning and end of testing. Talk to me about payment plans and how I can help make testing more affordable and accessible for you!

No. If you would like to use your medicaid benefits for assessments, I will provide a referral. Medicaid does not allow private pay for assessments.

I offer a small number of sliding scale fee therapy slots based on household income.

I ask for a 50/50 payment split at the beginning and end of the assessment process (i.e. 50% after initial consultation, 50% at feedback). I can offer smaller payments as we proceed with each testing session. I want to work with you to make testing accessible and more affordable.
