Autism Therapy

Autism therapy at Carnation Psychology supports autistic teens and adults- whether newly diagnosed, self-identified, or diagnosed years ago - with the day-to-day realities of sensory overwhelm, masking fatigue, social exhaustion, executive functioning, and navigating relationships or work in a world built for neurotypical brains.

This isn't therapy aimed at making anyone "less autistic." The goal is to reduce the cost of masking, build routines and communication strategies that actually fit how you think, and work through the anxiety, burnout, or self-doubt that often builds up after years of camouflaging traits, especially for clients diagnosed later in life. I also work with autistic clients on co-occurring concerns like anxiety, depression, or trauma, since these frequently show up together.

This can follow directly from an autism assessment, or you're welcome to start here if you already have a diagnosis and want support.
