Getting Started
-
Reach out through the patient portal linked above, by email, or by phone. We’ll schedule a brief consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
-
Expect to meet with me for 1 - 1.5 hours (in-person or virtual) to go over the consent and confidentiality, discuss your background, why you’re seeking services, and what you’re hoping to get out of working together. It’s also a chance for us to see if we’re a good fit.

I work with teens 14+ and adults. I do not work with children or do family/parenting support.
Fees & Insurance
-
I accept Colorado Medicaid for therapy ONLY. All other services, including assessments, are private pay. See the Fees & Insurance page for full details.
-
Depends. Assessments are more of an up-front investment for short term services (i.e. 1-1.5 months total). Whereas long-term therapy will likely be more expensive in the long run with recurring payments.
What to Expect in Therapy
-
Therapy is ongoing support for emotional or behavioral concerns. An assessment is a structured evaluation process (usually a few sessions) resulting in a written report and, if applicable, a diagnosis.
-
Sessions are 50-53 minutes. I meet with my new clients weekly until we come to a mutual agreement that tapering to every other week feels appropriate as you progress. Some people need short-term services, some need more long-term work. We will discuss that together in the first few sessions.
-
Yes, totally normal! Most clients feel some version of this, especially opening up to someone new. You never have to share more than you're ready to; the pace is yours to set.
-
Yes, with standard legal exceptions (risk of harm to self/others, abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult, court order).
-
Yes. Happy to meet with you virtually for all services, one-off appointments, or initial consultations. I use Zoom for Healthcare, a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. I will send you the link ahead of time.
Assessments
-
An assessment typically takes about 1-1.5 months from start to finish. Each appointment averages about 2 hours, and we meet about 2-3 times.
-
Yes, every assessment comes with a written report with clinical/diagnostic impressions, tailored recommendations, and supportive data.
-
A assessment alone does not guarantee academic or workplace accomodations. Schools, employers, and testing boards require proof of specific functional limitations and a direct link between your diagnosis and the requested support, governed by standards like the ADA. They will make the ultimate decision on what is or is not granted, but I can support you by increasing your chances by making data-informed recommendations.
-
Absolutely! I tailor each individual’s assessment to their needs, and can suggest trusted colleagues and professionals for additional support services.
